Every effort is made to display prices correctly but on rare occasions if a mistake has occurred, balloonsdirect will correct this mistake and inform the customer accordingly and the customer can then decide whether to proceed or cancel the order thereafter.

balloonsdirect offer to supply the helium filled balloons selected by the customer. Each Foil balloon will be secured by a ribbon and a weight and either sent directly with a balloonsdirect delivery vehicle tied together or in boxes that are deemed suitable for this type of product by our courier. Each Latex balloon that is filled with Helium will be secured by a ribbon but will not include a weight unless explicitly ordered.

At the time of ordering the Customer must provide a correct daytime telephone number and e-mail address. Failure to provide this may result in the order not being sent. The customer must also provide balloonsdirect with any relevant information that will help ensure a smooth delivery (eg if codes need to requested to enter complexes)

balloonsdirect cannot be held responsible for incorrect information supplied by the customer.

We reserve the right to substitute your balloon and or/gift with a similar choice if your first choice is out of stock. Where there is sufficient time before dispatch, the customer will be contacted and an alternative offered.

Helium foil 18″ balloons normally float for at least a week and sometimes months. However in cold temperatures the helium may cause the balloon to appear deflated but after re-entering a warmer climate the helium expands and the balloon will be inflated once again. Latex balloons will only float for between 12-20 hours or about 2-3 days when treated with Hi-Float which can be ordered when ordering a Latex Balloon.

Once a delivery has been signed for at the address specified on the original order, balloonsdirect will no longer be responsible and refunds will not be given if the balloon does not pass onto the named recipient.

Refunds and Returns Policy

All balloons are perishable goods and balloonsdirect will not accept returns and unwanted balloons. In the unlikely event of a product defect the customer must inform balloonsdirect in writing within 2 days of receipt of that balloon. All packaging and contents of the carton must be returned to us for inspection. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in the claim being rejected. When additional items have been sent the refund amount will only apply to the defective product.

Refunds will only be issued for damaged goods or goods not delivered. No refunds will be given for late deliveries. Time for delivery shall not be approximate unless previously agreed by balloonsdirect.

In the event of a claim, settlement will be limited to the value of the goods, if defective or damaged and will in no way extend to consequential loss, howsoever caused.

Orders may be canceled up to 2 days prior to the requested delivery date and a full refund minus a 15% administration fee will be issued within 30 days of cancellation. However once the goods have been dispatched balloonsdirect will be exempt from giving cancellation rights.


All balloons and accompanying products are not suitable for children under 24 months. Please note balloons are not a toy and children must be supervised at all times.

Do not inhale! Helium is an asphyxiant and is harmful to the respiratory system when inhaled, possibly leading to death.

Balloonsdirect cannot be held responsible for injury or accidents caused by the breach of this condition.
